Peer Review Process

Submitted manuscripts are evaluated by anonymous reviewers through a single-blind peer review for contribution, originality, relevance, and presentation. The editor will notify you of the review results as soon as possible. The peer review process can be seen in Figure 1.
The process can be explained as follows.

  1. Submitted manuscripts will first be reviewed by the editor. The manuscript will be evaluated using Turnitin to determine whether it aligns with the focus and scope of the LENTERA CENDEKIA Journal of Community Service, whether it has methodological weaknesses, or a high similarity score. The decision for the review process is either to reject or accept.
  2. The manuscript will be sent to at least two anonymous reviewers (double-blind review). Comments from the reviewers are then sent to the corresponding author for necessary action and feedback.
  3. Afterward, the editorial team meeting proposes a final decision on the revised manuscript.
  4. Finally, the editor will send the final decision to the corresponding author.
  5. The received manuscript then proceeds to the manuscript editing and layout process to prepare the manuscript ready for printing.

Results Review
Using feedback from the peer review process, the Editor will make the final decision regarding publication. Decision categories include:

  • Reject - Rejected manuscripts will not be published, and authors will not have the opportunity to resubmit a revised version to this journal.
  • Accept with Major Revisions - Manuscripts will be reviewed again after making some major modifications.
  • Accept with Minor Revisions - Manuscripts that receive a pending-revision decision will be published in this journal, provided they are made with minor modifications. Revisions will be reviewed by the editor to ensure necessary updates are made before publication.
  • Accept - Accepted manuscripts will be published in their current form without requiring further modifications.
